Political Incorrectness

A page dedicated to Political Incorrectness. This country has gone mad with being politically correct, you can no longer call a blackboard a blackboard, children have been banned from singing 'Baa-baa blacksheep' as it is supposed to be racist and so on...the list of crazy things you can and can't do/say goes on and on. Well, you know what ? I think its all a load of bollocks. Call me old fashioned if you want (I was a child of the late 1960's and 1970's) but I don't like change for change's sake and I reckon the Liberals/Socialists/EU have really gone too far....well I'm not giving in to political correctness, I am politically incorrect and proud of it....so there.

Liberals and Socialists please don't proceed with this page. If anyone is offended then I do truly apologise, however this is part of our history.

The politically correct like to ban books. The Story of Little Black Sambo was read to children in British schools through to the 1970s, then it was decided that they should all be withdrawn. It was a firm favourite while it lasted.

Once upon a time there was a little black boy, and his name was Little Black Sambo. And his mother was called Black Mumbo.

One of the most famous of all children's authors, Enid Blyton, wrote about the tales of Golly, Woggie and Nigger....the three Golliwogs. What fun they had on their long walk over Bumble Bee Common into Hallo Wood. !!!

Well done to ASDA supermarket

Outcry as Radio 4 drop theme tune

Radio 4 has dropped its UK theme tune which includes Danny Boy, Rule Britannia, Scotland the Brave etc. as it was considered too Patriotic and could cause upset to people from other cultures.  Attacking the decision, Philip Davies MP said that he regretted that 'Political correctness has sparked the removal of the UK melody'.  However I am pleased to note that the supermarket ASDA have decieded to fight back against the looney lefties and do-gooders, saying that the UK theme is something to be proud of and that they would be playing it at 10am every morning on ASDA FM, their in- store radio, so that customers could be treated to 'this rousing meledy' as they do their weekly shop. Well done ASDA.

It is "Winter Lights" for Lambeth
2 November 2005

Lambeth Council has decided that it is going to have "Winter Lights" this year instead of "Christmas Lights".  This bizarre decision has apparently been made to avoid upsetting non-Christians with a council official reportedly saying that the change of terminology was to reflect the fact that a number of religious festivals occur over winter.

MP tables Early Day Motion calling for action against extremist Muslim protestors.

Philip Davies MP has tabled an Early Day Motion in Parliament calling for the police to take action against the extremist Muslim protestors who were captured on film and photographed with placards inciting violence and murder on Friday in London.

The disgraceful scenes outside the Danish Embassy in February 2006 where Muslims violently protested against the publishing of cartoons depicting Muhammed in a Danish newspaper. Calling for the 'slaying' of those who insult Islam, they obviously forgot that we live in a free and democratic part of the world. We have the freedom of saying and doing almost whatever we want, a right denied to people in other parts of the world. They decry the 'Great Satan' that is the USA and Great Britain yet millions of them live here. Why ? Listen dudes, I have a simple message....Don't like it?  You think we are the 'Great Satan'?...well do yourself and everyone else a favour and....buzz off!!  You go and live in an Arabic country and do whatever you do and we'll all stay here and do what we do. Simple solution.
